The School of Nursing in JU employs a total of 56 nursing faculty. Fourteen of the faculty staff are currently on study leave (undertaking PhDs), leaving 42 faculty staff members active. The student capacity for the undergraduate nursing program nursing school is 50-65 students per theory class, 25 students per laboratory session, and 15 students per instructor for clinical placement. This was established by JU leaders and based on the capability within their facilities (i.e., classrooms, skills lab, and placement opportunities).

Since the inception of the program, to ensure that students have the best possible clinical experience to ensure they meet their clinical competencies, Ibtisam and JU have established good relationships with clinical partners. Ibtisam (QA) has also visited the clinical sites in the town on many occasions to continue to enhance the relationships with different clinical environments. A clinical logbook was developed and is in use for the current clinical attachment. Navy blue scrub uniforms are also worn by our students in the clinical setting in line with the color of FCHS.
