JU Graduates its Students at PhD, Masters & Bachelors Level

On 25th of June, 2016 JU held a very colorful graduation ceremony in the presence of members of the university senate, other invited guests and families of the graduates at the Mini Stadium of the main campus. A total of 2443 students have completed their study and graduated at the ceremony of which 511 are at post-graduate level while 1932 were graduated at BA level. Of all the graduates 847 are female.

Regional Soil Campaign, Jimma University

It is a known fact that, Soils are the sources that provided human with more than 90% of the food we eat.  Soil represents a dynamic ecosystem, making it appropriate to think about them in terms of health, vitality and biodiversity. As result, the United Nations decided 2015 to be international soil year. We need a healty soil for a healthy life.
