The e-Learning for Strengthening Higher Education (e-SHE), in partnership with Jimma University, organized a one-day workshop at Jimma University.
The workshop was attended by representatives from the seven member universities of the Jimma cluster, and it aimed to facilitate robust discussions and collaborative initiatives.
Opening the workshop, Dr. Jemal Abafita, President of Jimma University, emphasized the significance of the gathering in fostering the institutionalization of e-learning within the cluster universities and facilitating the exchange of invaluable experiences among them. The agenda is brimming with insightful presentations, offering a comprehensive view of e-SHE’s progress, key milestones, and the ambitious 2024 plan.

In addition, Jimma University shared its own journey in institutionalizing e-learning, while the member universities of the cluster reflected on their individual experiences.
As part of the workshop, the participants had the opportunity to visit the newly constructed multimedia studio at Jimma University.
