The training workshop is organized in collaboration with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) through Jimma University and University of Copenhagen Alliance in Nutrition (JUCAN) Research Project. JUCAN takes part in the consortium established on the study “Using nuclear techniques to assess body composition in children previously treated for moderate and severe acute malnutrition and their medium-term benefits and risks in six African countries”. The training participants are from various African countries, namely, Burkina Faso, Democratic Rep. of the Congo, Kenya, Malawi, Uganda, Tanzania and Zambia.
