Jimma University graduated students in its ABH Partners Campus

Jimma University graduated 136 students in Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Public Health (MPH) in its ABH Partners campus for the fourth time On August 26, 2018 with a colorful commencement held at Sheraton Addis Hotel. 

Prof. Fikre Lemessa President of JU expressed that JU runs varies quality postgraduate programs in collaboration with ABH partners for the residents of Addis Ababa and surrounding areas. He also confirmed that by strengthening the public-private partnership scheme, the university will initiate additional need based quality postgraduate programs in the Future.

Currently JU in ABH Partners campus runs six programs; Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Health Monitoring and Evaluation (MSc), Master of Human Nutrition (MSc) Master of Project Management and Finance (MSc) and Doctor of Medicine (MD).

Dr.Markos Feleke CEO of ABH Partners congratulated the graduates and their families stressing the validity of the date in the lives of the graduates. He stated that the vision of ABH Partners is to be an internationally recognized knowledge hub that capitalized in the generation, dissemination, evaluation and application of knowledge using local people but global standard. 

Guest of honor of the occasion His Excellency Engineer Takele Uma, Vice Mayor of the Addis Ababa City, handed over degrees to all graduates and special prizes for outstanding achievers. 

In his commencement speech the V/mayor thanked ABH Partners for the genuine service it has rendered to the community in the past ten year. He advised the graduates to serve their country and to be part of the reform. He also stressed the importance of working together. The importance of sharing from what we have to the needy. Ju and ABH Partners, in this respect, should work in a better way for further achievements.
