Class for Second batch Industry Oriented MSc in Horticulture will start on Sunday January 13, 2013 at 9:00 am (morning)

Venue: Adama site:  TEATAS Int. Hotel

Transport: Round trip transportation between Addis - Adama and Ziway- Adama will be arranged. Accordingly, students from Addis must be at EHDA parking site (Mexico Bunana Shai Building) at 5:45 am (early morning), and from Ziway at Tourist Hotel at 12:00 am (morning).

The primary focus of the MSc program is capacity building with objectives of graduate training that will develop highly qualified personnel in Ethiopian Export Oriented Horticulture Industry and enhancing university-industry collaborative researches on Horticulture Value chain. The program builds on our objectives and experiences in designing a flexible new learning environment which is different from campus based and distance education. Industry Oriented MSc is aMaster of Science in the field of horticulture at Jimma University. The program is research oriented and exceptionally well positioned to respond to the needs of horticultural industries in Ethiopia. Fruits, vegetables, flowers and herbs– improving their quality, yield, economic performance and their eco-friendly cultivation are the domain of the program.

Registration: Interested candidates are required to register on line for the Selection Entrance Examination: Industry Oriented Msc in Horticulture

 Selection into the program will be based on the combined aggregate of academic performance in the undergraduate degree courses and the entrance examination.  Detail information will be posted on the website.
