Mission
The aims at producing capable and qualified health care professionals through its community based educational philosophy who can effectively manage, provide decisive leadership and M&E the health care service provision in the country and beyond. We believe that by producing well trained health service managers, leaders and evaluators, the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the health service delivery system of Ethiopia will improve. Furthermore, the department’s mission includes providing opportunities for students and staff to engage in applied research and consultancy activities on key health systems issues of the country to promote the development of professional management in the health sector.

We will be recognized by our Community - Based Educational Philosophy through academic, research and practice programs as a department of preference that values community, diversity, excellence and integrity in health professions education in Health Services Management, Hospital & Health Care Administration and M&E of health programs; scholarship and service.
