Database, journals and article searching
Mediated links to databases to which the library subscribes or has access to free on the web are available. Full-text journals online and other types of electronic resources are available through PERI, HINARI and NLM in collaboration with INASP, WHO and NIM. To find journals or journals’ articles on a particular topic, appropriate databases can be searched to which the library subscribes or has access to free online. Other CD ROM databases are also accessible through University Library Reference Department in collaboration with Library computer Network service Department.

The Lyell Collection Complete (New)
The Lyell Collection is an electronic resource containing new and archival journal, Special Publication and book content, published by the Geological Society of London. It contains key peer-reviewed Earth science literature of the highest quality.
Nile Basin Research Program (New)
This is the wealth of research that has been done in the Nile Basin over four years by very senior researchers from the Nile region in collaboration with senior researchers from Norway.
Information Bridge (New)
It contains 259,000 full-text documents about Physics, Chemistry, Materials, Biology, Environmental sciences, Energy technologies, Engineering, Computer and Information science, renewable energy etc.
Archive of European Integration (AEI) (New)
This is an archive of 13000 full-text documents about the Europian Integration.
ITG Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp
Popline contains 370,000 records on reproductive health, containing citations with abstracts to scientific articles, reports, books, and unpublished reports in the field of population, family planning, and related health issues. Some of the topics are: family planning, adolescent reproductive health, demography, environmental health, HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases, maternal and child health, population and environment.
PsycARTICLES is a database of full-text articles from journals published by the American Psychological Association, the APA Educational Publishing Foundation, the Canadian Psychological Association, and Hogrefe Publishing Group.

The HINARI program, set up by WHO together with major publishers, enables developing countries to gain access to one of the world's largest collections of biomedical and health literature. Over 3750 journal titles are now available to health institutions in 113 countries, benefiting many thousands of health workers and researchers, and in turn, contributing to improved world health.
