Head of the Department
The Department is chaired by a Department Head with extensive academic and administrative responsibilities for managing programmes. The current Head of the Department is Ato Gudeta Kebede, who coordinates activities among the 21 members of staff, chairs the Department Council and facilitates interaction with various organs of the College and the University. 

There is no department in the University which does not have a link with our department since it delivers two campus-wide common courses, Civics and Logic. The Department is proud of providing this service, notwithstanding the challenge of managing the activities across all parts of the University on top of the responsibilities associated with the other major programmes on offer.
