Master of Science in Clinical Pharmacy

Program Goal

  •  The goal of the programs is establish patient centered pharmaceutical care service in the health care delivery system of Ethiopia.

Graduate Profile

  • Upon completion of the training, the graduates will be able to:
  • Deliver pharmaceutical care (Monitor, evaluate, design, recommend and implement patient specific pharmacotherapeutic plans).
  • Involve in research and academia
  • Play leadership role in health care delivery system 

Admission Requirements

  • Hold B. Pharm + CGPA of 2.00 from a recognized College/ University.
  • Registered pharmacist + two years of relevant work experience + acceptable professional conduct proven by references. 
  • Pass entrance examination  

Assessments :Formative and summative methods:

  • Different levels and types of examination
  • Seminars and Projects 
  • Skill performance demonstrations 
  • Comprehensive assessments of clinical rotations

Graduation Requirements

  • At least B grade in each course and Cumulative Graduate Point Average ( CGPA) of at least 3:00
  • Successful  defense of research thesis
