A one-day symposium in Jimma University on Thursday 28th of March 2013 organized by Laboratory of Drug Quality (JuLaDQ), Jimma University (Ethiopia) and Laboratory of Drug Quality and Registration (DruQuaR), Ghent University (Belgium) covering:
- quality of life;
- drug choices: evidence-based equals essential medicines?;
- good distribution practices (GDP): a neglected but critical quality
- the new regulatory system for quality pharmaceuticals in Ethiopia;
- strengths and threats for strong supply chain;
- quality-by-design (QbD): the new paradigm forward in pharmaceutical quality?;
- selected functional quality challenges: from specification settings to traceability.
Ideal for those having a basic knowledge of pharmaceutical quality in R&D, production, procurement, distribution, storage and delivery to increase their awareness of current pharmaceutical quality topics, to discuss current issues and to stimulate networking.
