Training Workshop has been organized in two rounds at JU main campuses On Grant proposal and Scientific Paper Writing

In the two rounds 80 faculty members of JU drawn from six colleges will benefit from the training. The first round will take place from June 8- 14, 2010 and the second round will take place from June 16- 22/2010. In the completion of the training, the trainees will be involved in grant proposal and scientific writing; such as:

  • Writing winning proposal as a researcher in a team
  • Review and approve new proposals when assigned
  • Monitoring and Evaluation of the approved proposal (log books, data books and design of experiments)
  • Write research articles and get published in Journals
  • Play a key role in reviewing and approval
    • Progress and terminal reports
    • Reviewing of Journal if assigned as a reviewer
    • Reviewing of papers for ARC if assigned as a reviewer
  • Share experiences of Journal Management
  • Develop skills in research thematic and priority areas for research

The facilitators of the workshop are: Prof Harold C Sox and Carol Hill Sox from USA.
