The prominent artist and play wright Getnet Enyew has shared his rich literary experience to language, literature and folklore students of jimma University at an occasion held in the main campus on December 24,2011.

The students at the event raised a number of question related to the purpose of literature. Most of the question focused on: the current status of literary works in Ethiopia, the quality of our films, the efforts of artists in promoting literary production in various languages, the contribution of the artist ( Getnet Enyew ) and his personal life.
The participants at the occasion stressed the important of conducting such type of events regularly in the future both in campus and outside campus
