Jimma university  and Beaniam in Africa  a  south  Korean, Seoul based   coffee marketing  company   has inked in   MOU today at the Senate Hall. The agreement outlines the areas of collaboration between the two institutions as stipulated in the MoU The two institutions have agreed to work in collaboration in the areas of exchange of   information about South Korean coffee market experience.

Exchange of information about Ethiopian coffee agronomic /research.
Jointly exploring research and other scholarly activities.
Jointly promote coffee tourism and cultural ceremony in Jimma areas, in Ethiopia.
The two institutions have shown interest to work and collaborate further in the areas of training and education through collaborating with Korean universities in coffee marketing and research  and coffee tourism   in the near future.
