Jimma University eLearning program was officially launched, on March 4, 2010. The launch ceremony was held at the senate hall where invited guests from and the respective stake holders from respective schools attended the ceremony.Jimma University has stood first in its overall performance in 2010 academic year. The university won a cup in the 20th Annual National Educational and Training Conference held in Bahir Dar for its overall performance, Business Process Re-engineering implementation, community services and its exemplary best practices competing against 22 public universities in the country.
