Center for International Health at Ludwig Maximilians University, Munich, Germany, and Jimma University, Jimma, Ethiopia, will offer an international academic teacher training course in Ambo, Ethiopia. 

Arrival in Ambo is on Thursday, December 29, 2011. The ATTC lasts from Friday, December 30, 2011, to Tuesday, January 03rd, 2012. Friday and Saturday and Sunday are course days (working days). Departure from Ambo is on Wednesday, January 04, 2012.

Specific objectives of the course
Theory and practice of modern assessment methods, feedback, lecturing and presenting. 

Pre-Course Assignment
Each participant prepares the following:
1.    Define your personal learning objectives or expectations for the course
2.    Create one Long Essay Question (LEQ), or two Short Answer Questions (SAQ), or two Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
3.    Create an OSCE station of 10 minutes duration, bring necessary materials with them to the course
4.    Prepare an oral presentation of 8 minutes duration, only flip chart allowed
